Kitchen: Malay & Singaporean

Enjoy Malaysian and Singaporean street food
Talk about Fusion … Some of the best Asian street food without a doubt comes from Malaysia & Singapore. With influences from Indian, Portuguese, Chinese, Thai & Indonesian Cuisine. Blessed with one of the most diverse and heavenly assortment of food choices in the world, the Malaysian & Singaporean food scene is truly a unique experience.

The inspiration comes from the great chefs of these countries – meaning  the ibus or mak (Mothers) and Mak-Ciks (aunties). The team decided to call the “Hawker Setup” MAK-CIK by I·BU – as an homage to the food tradition and culture that exists to this day.

Here at MAK-CIK by I·BU, they take you to the streets of these wonderful countries combining it with Scandinavian produces, whilst focusing on sustainability and organic ingredients. The perfect combination by merging the best of both continents.
